Case study · 2026
An editorial website and a Shopify store for a couture house: collections read like a printed lookbook, and the summer line sells as sets, bundles and pieces seen in real moments.

The brief
Maison Ciel needed its couture presented with the same care as the garments, and a store that sells the ready-to-wear line without breaking that mood: image-led, personal, and easy to buy from.
The approach
Two builds, one house. The editorial site tells the story with large imagery and quiet typography; the Shopify store carries the same look into product grids, set bundles and shoppable videos.
Signature feature
Every look has its own page with a vertical title and full-height imagery, so the clothes, not the interface, hold the attention.

Collections presented as a sequence of looks.
Events, press and celebrities build the brand.
A dedicated flow for one-of-one commissions.
Inside the site
08 screens from the live sites
A summer storefront that opens on film and carries the house's editorial look into retail.

The Midnight Sun line laid out with clear prices and sale markers, one tap from each piece.

Custom bundle artwork shows the pairing and the saving at a glance: top and shorts, top and skirt, top and pants.

Real videos of the pieces being worn, each linked straight to the product and its price.

Full-bleed campaign banners that sell the idea of the set before the shopper scrolls to the products.

On the editorial site, each collection opens like a chapter, with its season and its story.

Runway moments and events, shown with full-bleed imagery and film.

A dedicated page and form for one-of-one pieces made to order.

On every screen
Most of Maison Ciel's visitors browse on a phone, so every look is composed to fill a mobile screen.
